African Cultural Festival in Milwaukee

The Africans in Milwaukee Inc, is a community based non-profit cultural organization dedicated to the preservation, perpetuation and propagation of the rich African cultural heritage among Africans and people of African descent through education, economic, social and technological events. Through the annual African Cultural Festival which started as a picnic, this event has evolved through the years to become the premier and authentic African heritage celebration since 1998. The African Cultural Festival features folkloric drumming and dancing, artistic performance with band and invigorating afro music, fashion show and cultural showcases and delicious African cultural dishes. The event attracts people from all walks of life especially those in the South-Eastern Wisconsin with local, state elected officials in attendance.
