Fabric, Water, and Animals: La Iguana Folkloric Dance at Arts @ Large

Join us for an exciting workshop on La Iguana Mexican Folk Dance from Veracruz. Omeyocan Dance Instructors will begin by sharing a sample of the movie “Coco” where we will be introduced to the music of Veracruz. We’ll see beautiful traditional dress that represents the ocean waves and learn how Mexicans respect the natural environment and protect endangered species like the Iguanas.
