Historic base ball games offer guests a glimpse into how the sport was played in the 1870’s. Historic period details of these games, such as underhanded pitching and players not wearing gloves, offer a unique experience compared to present day baseball games.
Historic 1870’s base ball at Old World Wisconsin is the full re-creation of the 1870’s game, including the field, equipment, rules and terminology. Following the game, guests of all ages can take a swing with a replica bat, run the bases or play the field.
