Festival City Symphony will begin its 2021-2022 “Saturday Classics” series with a concert titled Passion, Faith, and Fate at 2 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 23, at the new Bradley Symphony Center, 212 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee. Admission will be free, though tickets are required, and donations are suggested and appreciated.

For its inaugural Saturday Classics concert, FCS will perform a program of magnificent works by master composers including Carnival Overture, op. 92 by Antonin Dvořák, George Bizet’s passionate Carmen Suite no. 1, and Russian romantic Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s dramatic and heartfelt Fourth Symphony (Symphony no. 4, op. 36 in F minor).

The new Saturday Classics series aims to make classical music accessible to everyone, including single adults, couples, seniors, music students, families, and school age children in grade 2 and above. Before the concerts, families can enjoy a Children’s Program Notes presentation by FCS music educator Lynn Roginske beginning at 1:45 p.m. to help children become familiar with the music they are about to hear.

Tickets are available at, or by calling the Bradley Symphony Center Box Office at (414) 291-7605. The suggested donation is $14 per adult per concert; the suggested donation for children, students, and seniors is $8 each per concert.

In accordance with the protocols of the Bradley Symphony Center, patrons will be required to show either proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the performance, accompanied by a valid ID.  To learn more about safety precautions for this concert, please visit
