Henrietta Leavitt was a 19th century astronomer who worked at the Harvard Observatory in the early 1900s. She discovered the pattern that allows us to measure the distance of the stars, thus calculating our place in the universe. This is the inspiring story of how she and her peers changed the role of women in both science and society.
