VIRTUAL EVENT: New York’s Nature Preserves: A Tour of Treasured Places at 5pm Eastern from The Nature Conservancy in New York

*The event has already taken place on this date: Tue, 05/26/2020
We have long recognized the restorative power of nature, but in times like these, it is even more essential. Across the country, The Nature Conservancy has created the largest network of private preserves in the world—providing an opportunity for people to connect with nature while protecting wildlife and the natural resources that bring us clean air and water. Join Jim Howe, Central & Western New York Chapter Director, Mat Levine, NY Director of Stewardship, and Marcela Maldonado Medina, NY Preserve Stewardship Coordinator, for a closer look at the diversity of New York’s preserves and how an old model of conservation is moving into a new age. Tune in to this "The Power of Nature" virtual event via Facebook Live starting at 5 p.m.!
