2026 Spring Show: Bees! - Mitchell Park Domes

Milwaukee County Parks has spent years uncovering an extraordinary story — its urban park system has become one of Wisconsin’s most vital havens for native bees, providing refuge amid farmland and freeways across more than 10,000 acres. This spring, that story comes to life at the Domes with BEES!, an exhibit celebrating local pollinators through vibrant floral displays and eight unique sculptures made from recycled metal. Visitors can explore the essential role bees play in sustaining gardens, ecosystems, and everyday life — a colorful reminder that beauty truly lies in the eye of the bee-holder. (April 4–May 25, 2026; no live bees.)
