Barktoberfest (featuring Walk Run Wag fun run)

On September 26th at Estabrook Park, come meet some of the organizations that help Milwaukee’s animals every day—and while you’re here, you’ll also have a chance to meet adoptable dogs from some of the rescues attending! Come celebrate the partnerships, people, and pups that help make second chances possible. All funds raised by Friends of MADACC go to helping the animals at MADACC and in Milwaukee County. Celebrate First Responders all weekend long with the Harley‑Davidson Museum! On Saturday, October 3rd guests are invited to explore dynamic stations and discover highlighted artifacts that offer meaningful connections to the stories on display through our exhibit activation. Blending participation with reflection, exhibit activations provide a fresh and memorable way for guests of all ages to experience the museum. For this session, we’ll focus on Lauren Gunawan, the first woman ever to serve in the U.S. Secret Service’s elite 14‑member Motorcade Support Unit, and the FLHTP Electra Glide. This 1,100‑pound motorcycle demands exceptional skill, and Gunawan handles it with precision—navigating tight spaces and heavy traffic as she clears the way for presidential motorcades.
