Take your homeschool learner or non-traditional student to everything Old World Wisconsin has to offer during this exciting day of exploring trails, gardens and historic buildings. Gain a unique and personal understanding of Wisconsin history while learning about early Wisconsin immigrant culture and life. As you explore, facilitators in period clothing will be stationed throughout the site, sharing special education activities exclusive to this unique program. Activities are geared toward students of all ages to experience. Regular site accommodations will be available, including the tram service, Museum Store, food and beverages. Grab your magnifying glass and detective hat to follow a series of family friendly clues that lead you through the twisting corridors and shadowy corners of the Museum’s exhibit halls for an extraordinary opportunity to get up close and personal with one (or two) of our rarely seen objects! In the crisp fall air, stroll through the Zoo along a dedicated paved pathway and become immersed in dazzling lights and charming decorations. Follow the path and be fully immersed in Halloween with each step you take. For the 5th annual Halloween-themed event, the Racine Zoo is giving a new and fresh look to Jack-O’-Lantern Nights from Thursday, October 1 through Saturday, October 31.
