All the world's a stage!
Acting Foundations will use classic children's stories, fairy tales or folk tales to introduce them to the world of theater. It's time to put those imaginations to work!
Each week, students will have fun with:
- dramatic play,
- story enactment
- movement
- visual arts
Through creative play, artistic expression, and theater games students will explore and learn the basics of acting and performance. This class will strengthen their ability to cooperate with others, focus on a task, and gain self confidence. Students will apply all the skills they've learned in their final class day performance showcase of a short play.
This is a 9 week class that begins on Tuesday, Feb. 28th and ends on Tuesday, April 25th. Students must enroll for the entire 9 weeks.
Level: Beginner (5 yr olds must be enrolled in Kindergarten and/or learning to read basic text).
