Enroll your student in this summer camp to participate in Backstage Crew Theatre Camp. This is a week-long camp aiming to teach skills in all things backstage including lighting, sound, scenery, painting, props making, costumes, and more! Students will work together on both Little Mermaid Jr and Finding Nemo Kids to serve as crew for all shows. Students in this camp will be involved in four shows in a backstage capacity. Students involved in this camp will not be cast in either production in acting roles. Tickets to attend the performance are available starting April 1st. This page is for student enrollment only.
Backstage Crew Theatre Camp is for campers ages 12-17. Registration opens on March 1st and is open to all. You do not need to be enrolled in the Germantown schools to register. The fee is $125 per student.
Please provide your student with a cold-bagged lunch each day. Camp will take place from 9am-3pm July 13-17. Show times are Friday July 17th at 5pm, and 730pm, and Saturday July 18th at 1pm and 3:30pm. Students can be dropped off starting at 8:45am. Students should be picked up no later then 3:15pm. Students can remain at the PAC throughout the day Friday and between shows Saturday. We do not provide discounts for missed camp attendance. Enrollment in this camp is limited and expected to reach full capacity quickly. Because of this, students cannot switch between acting camps and crew camps freely once the registration deadline has passed. Students enrolled in backstage crew camp will participate in ALL areas of technical theatre during the day camp and given specialized roles for each performance. Please ensure your student can be involved in all performances before signing up for this camp. We will make every effort to make sure each student gets to participate with their preferred performance department, however we cannot guarantee all students will be given roles in their first choice areas.
You will receive a reminder email a week before the camp with other helpful information.
