Chalk it Up Challenge

 The Chalk it Up Challenge will take place at Lake Vista Park beginning at 4pm. Check-in will begin at 3pm. Each participant will have a 7 x 7 area to create their chalk design. Judging will take place at 7pm. Awards will be given out at 8pm. 

• No entry fee
• Registration is Required  
• Contest is open to children, teens, and adults 
• Registration forms must be received no later than June 6th (no late entries will be accepted) 
• Chalk entries will be judged by the following age categories: ages 5-12 (children), ages 12-17 (teens), and ages 18+ (adults) 
• 3 winners per category - 1st , 2nd, and 3rd place. (medals and prizes will be awarded in each age category) 
• Theme: Optional July 4th, 70 Strong, Happy Birthday Oak Creek, or just be as creative as you want! 
• Must be registered in order to participate (no same day registrations will be accepted) 
• Your chalk area will be assigned to you at check-in. Check in will begin at 3pm. All participants must be checked in no later than 3:45pm. 
• Material Restrictions: Participants may bring their own chalk, brushes, or water. All chalk must be washable ( no chalk paint will be allowed). Chalk will be provided for anyone that does not bring thier own. 
• This is a family event. Artwork must be family -friendly. The challenge judges have the right to disqualify any participant for artwork deemed inappropriate. 
• Artwork will be judged by the following criteria: Creative experession, use of color, design. artistic talent based on age category, and overall impression. 
• The decisions of the judges are final
