Use clay, soil, and seeds to make seed balls for Earth Day!

Using seeds collected from rooftop plants, clay, soil, and compost, we’ll make seed balls you can disperse in your gardens, in vacant city lots, along railroad tracks, etc. or anywhere else that needs more native wildflowers and vegetation. Seed balls were originally invented to drop from airplanes to reforest devastated land.

Kids will gain an understanding of the cycles and processes of plants and use fine motor skills to create their own seed balls.

This program is free with museum admission. No registration is required. Admission is FREE for members and $9 for non-member adults and kids or $8 for non-member grandparents and seniors.
