Elite Acting Auditions

Mosaic Is Offering A Second Day Of Elite Auditions! Due to our first audition day filling up and having requests for more audition times, we will be opening up a second open call day for our Elite Casts on May 11th!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Our Youth Elite, Junior Elite & High School Casts are our Audition Only Casts that are designed to give students 10-17 the extra training they are looking for to go above and beyond all while performing two productions a season!

In a unique combination of classroom training with onstage focus across over a dozen professional level, fully youth-casted, theatre productions each year, you will learn, growth, be challenged and experience tremendous support with your cast of peers all looking to elevate their theatrical experiences. We welcome new and experienced actors to the stage, where every student has the chance to shine.

Mosaic is opening up the studio for your actor to audition for the chance to be a part of these Elite casts and all the training and experiences that come with them. You will need to have the following prepared for your audition.

Your audition song and monologue can be from any source material or show. You can perform your song to an accompaniment track or acapella. Though, we would prefer an accompaniment track. The song can be an uptempo or a ballad. We would like the song to be to your type, however you currently define that, and showcase both your vocal range, and acting range. We understand that a 32 bar cut is a short song and you won’t have time to do everything possible. So make those 32 bars count!

Your Monologue can be from a play, musical or tv show. We prefer a monologue from a published work, not a monologue created for a monologue book if possible. The piece should be to your type, however you define that now, but does not need to fit your current age range. It can be comedic or dramatic and should show us some range.
