Milwaukee Day - East Troy Railroad Museum
Start your summer at our fun-filled Milwaukee Day event! Learn about Milwaukee's once very extensive network of electric railways, of which the East Troy Electric Railroad is the last surviving segment. Our train crews and docents will provide historical messages about Milwaukee's transportation history and how it impacted surrounding areas in the Depot and onboard rare operating Milwaukee streetcar 846 and 1930-vintage North Shore Line "Silverliner" interurban 761. Model railroads will also be operating in the East Troy Depot, additional kid-friendly activities will be offered, and unique work equipment from The Milwaukee Electric Railway and Light Company will be on display! Tickets good all day! Ride as many trains as you would like!
