In this immersive camp, participants get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be an Environmental Educator at a nature center. Campers will learn the basics of reptile handling and interpretation, plant and animal identification, kayaking, and public speaking. They’ll also meet professionals working in the nature field and discover pathways to becoming a naturalist themselves. At the end of the week, campers will put their new skills into action by leading their own interpretive nature hike for friends and family!
