The play “stars” two characters that will be cast to professional Milwaukee-based actors: Alica Rice and Zach Thomas.
Me and Debry also features four “supporting” roles performed by audience members. All audience members will have an opportunity to participate in the play as they discuss the 8 R's. The play will be performed in English. However, supporting materials will also be available in Spanish and Hmong.
Due to the sophisticated rhyming language, the play was designed for fifth grade students. However, audiences of all ages will appreciate the central message of “If it’s to be, it’s up to me!” All ages are welcome to attend. We ask that children be accompanied by an adult.
