Safe Babywearing Practices

Instructors from the Milwaukee Babywearing group discuss the various types of baby carriers, and the pros and cons of each. Safety, ergonomics, and proper babywearing techniques are the main focus of this class. Instructors will also have recommendations for parents with back problems, limitations, and for very young babies.
There will be plenty of time for trying on different carriers (with demo baby dolls!) and for questions. Feel free to bring your child(ren) and any carriers you need help with.
This is a basic class for those with little to no experience with babywearing. Current or soon-to-be parents/caretakers of all genders and orientations are welcome.
There is a $15 fee per family. Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance. Please register via Bay View Community Center's site: http://www.bayviewcenter.org/index.php/register1/
