STORIGAMI at the Boerner Botanical Gardens | Kids Out and About Milwaukee

STORIGAMI at the Boerner Botanical Gardens

Learn Origami, the ancient art of paper folding, while telling a story about a child that is trying to figure out what to do when they grow up. We follow that journey from a sailor to firefighter to pirate to captain of a boat. Each of these folds can be used as a hat. The captain’s boat runs into some harsh weather and in the end, just the captain’s shirt is found. In this class, you will first hear the story and then learn how to repeat it while folding your sheet of newspaper. Please bring a newspaper along to fold. This is a class for a young child accompanied with a parent or guardian.
