Travis Manion Foundation is a national organization that brings military veterans to communities to discuss character, service and leadership. On July 16, a TMF Character Does Matter will lead a conversation about the book Trombone Shorty, by Troy Andrews. This engaging story follows musician Troy Andrews--nicknamed "Trombone Shorty"--and is a celebration of the rich cultural history of New Orleans and the power of music. The group will view a read-along recording of the book, available here: https://www.storylineonline.net/books/trombone-shorty/. Note: This presentation is best geared to 3rd to 5th graders. Registration required.
