Camp Kesem at Northern Illinois University

Camp Kesem is a nonprofit nationwide organization which supports children ages 6-18 through and beyond their parents cancer. With over 100 chapters across the nation, each chapter holds a completely free of charge week of summer camp. Camp Kesem allows our campers know that they are not alone through this journey and allow them to meet with other campers who are going through similar situations. Camp Kesem and NIU's free week of camp allows the campers to escape the reality of cancer. Each chapter is led by driven college students who individually raise money to fund raise each camper's tuition.
