What our organization offers:
Grandmaster Cho has personally selected and trained masters who take on his philosophy of teaching, His two sons, Won and Ung Cho, are carrying on the proud family tradition. Cho's branch head Masters, each have over 20 years of teaching experience, and a Martial Arts Championship title. Over these years, they have developed a humble and caring personality to help all individuals achieve their goals.

Great Grandmaster Chom Son Cho comes from a long tradition of martial arts excellence. He began the study of martial arts early in life with his father and uncle, who were high ranking Judo and Kendo practitioners.

In 1950, at the age of 15, he won 15 straight matches in the National black belt Tournament in Seoul, leading to Grand Champion. In 1963 he participated in the National Games in Tokyo Japan and won 19 matches. He then defeated the Japanese Champion to become the Korean and Japanese National Champion, defending the title of Heavyweight Champion for 9 years. When he retired from competition in 1972, he was undefeated in over 250 matches.

Great grandmaster began to train the top police forces and the United States Army based in Korea. He then was invited to train the United States Army Special Forces (Green Berets) in Cambridge, England. That same year, he was promoted to International Grand Master Instructor by the WTF (World Taekwondo Federation). He is largely responsible for the popularity of the style of Jidokwon, which 90-95% of all world champions practice. Grandmaster created many new techniques, but he is well known for his “spin kick”.

In 1973, he came to the United States and opened his school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Throughout his career he has created over 4,000 black belts, 500 champions at State, National and Junior Olympic levels and over 50 Master Instructors in the United States.
