This is our exclusive beginner camp program for our younger campers, Girls & Boys ages 6-12. It's designed for the "first time" overnight camper who may be a little reluctant to leave home. Our goal is to have every camper succeed so we keep camp size small (less than 70 campers) and give additional counselor support by having 2 counselors for every 7 campers. If you are looking for the perfect 1st time camp experience consider our Discovery Camp. It is designed for those children that might need a bit more attention their first time at camp or just want a shorter time away. Yet, some campers prefer to jump right in and start their camp experience with our 3 & 6 week programs, and that's OK. Regardless of session you pick, all activities are the same, except Discovery campers will not go on any overnight trips out of camp. The choice is up to each family.

If this is your child's first time at overnight summer camp, please do the research to ensure that it will be a successful experience for your child. Success is the reason our program is 12 day long. We have found that shorter sessions are much more entertainment based than personal growth based. More time allows us to get deeper and know each child better. The best way to measure success at camp is after they return. Are they more confident leaving home, Do they ask "How can I help" and Do they know better how to build relationships (with out a phone).
