Rehab Resources has been specializing in pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy services for over 30 years. PEDIATRIC Physical Therapy

Work to improve a child’s age appropriate strength, flexibility, range of motion, posture, balance and movement patterns. Provide assessments for adaptive equipment and orthotics. Assess a variety of aspects that affect and determine a child’s ability to be independent by enhancing their ability to participate in activities within the home, school and community. Improve gross motor milestone skills of rolling, crawling, sitting and walking.

 

PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS

Improve upper extremity range of motion, coordination, strength, and endurance. Work towards improving a child’s ability to be an active participant in life’s meaningful activities by improving play skills, self-care, fine motor skills and sensory processing. Improving behavior state control to facilitate age appropriate attention, sleep and calming patterns. Provide assessments for adaptive equipment.

PEDIATRIC SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS

Improve a child’s ability to be understood and to communicate effectively via verbal and nonverbal language. Provide training in the use of augmentative communication systems. Address feeding and swallowing in infants and children. Provide speech training for children with hearing impairments. Improve speech fluency and reduce stuttering.
