Take It Outside Day – Biking

(Free for everyone) Stop into the Menomonee Valley Urban Ecology Center for an opportunity to learn the basics of biking. Registration is NOT required for this program.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

We'll host three stations of activities including: trail etiquette trivia, a guided ride along the Hank Aaron State Trail, and a Bubblr Bikes rental station demonstration. Dress for the weather, pack a snack, and bring your family/friends for this unique opportunity to connect with people and nature in the city! Urban Ecology Center will provide all gear necessary to participants who wish to try biking the Hank Aaron Trail. Bikes are sized by height - our fleet is designed to outfit individuals 4ft 9 inches to 6ft 5 inches tall. Helmets size small to extra large are also provided for program purposes. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

For questions about this program, please contact Community Programs Manager, Cassie Bauer, at cbauer@urbanecologycenter.org
