Sessions at these completely volunteer-led camps are for five days and are perfect if you’re looking for a way to get involved with your local Girl Scout community by yourself, with a friend, or with your troop. You’ll participate in progressive activities so you can continue to learn new skills as you grow! This five-night session is perfect for grades 7-12 who are curious about a future career as a first responder. You’ll receive hands-on training from professionals in law enforcement, fire fighting and EMS. You’ll work alongside professionals at the Milwaukee Area Technical College Oak Creek campus during the day and spend your nights sleeping indoors at Camp Alice Chester in East Troy.

Nothing says summer like swimming and boating. Build your skills as you try various paddling adventures. Our paddling programs are progressive, which means as you move up through the programs you learn new skills and increase your comfort level on the water. When you’re not spending time on the water, you’ll have a great time at Camp Alice Chester, enjoying our traditional camp activities- rock wall, arts n’ crafts, swimming, sports n games, nature and more.

Our counselor-in-training programs will take you from being a camper to working at camp as you build leadership skills and develop confidence leading younger campers. After successfully completing counselor-in-training III, you will be invited to work at camp the following summer.

Adventure Camp, for children entering grades 1-4, is designed for campers who want to pursue a specific interest. In the morning, campers will choose between two 70-minute classes or one 140-minute class. In the afternoons, activities and trips to unique Milwaukee destinations foster community building.

Odyssey Camp, for children entering grades 5-8, engages middle school-aged campers in workshops that empower and inspire. Whether it's 3D printing, culinary skills, sports, or art classes, campers are guaranteed to experience a wide range of engaging activities.

Skating Camp is designed for all levels, no ice-skating experience necessary. Beat the heat and learn how to ice skate at the same time. Activities include games, mazes, snowball toss, ice art, strength and conditioning, skills, and drills.

Camp Odayin’s summer camp for children with heart disease in grades 1-11 is an overnight experience where campers benefit from connecting with other young people who may share similar health, emotional, and social concerns.
