New this year, USM Sports Camp is for campers in 1st through 8th grade with some prior experience in their sport. The goal of each camp is to provide young athletes skill advancement opportunities in the sports they love the most! At MTEF Summer Tennis Camps, participants will engage in positive youth development experiences on and off the courts. Campers will engage in tennis, life skills, fitness, and enrichment sessions. With the support of qualified and enthusiastic instructors our kids will build teamwork, confidence, and hand-eye coordination skills, learn healthy habits, make friends and develop a lifelong love of tennis. Falling Creek’s June Camp session is 20 days and provides a great opportunity for first-time campers in 1st-9th grade who are excited about all that camp has to offer. The June Camp session offers a wide variety of activities and allows boys an opportunity to build self-confidence as they improve their skills and enhance their friendships. Campers live in cabin groups of eight and choose their six favorite activities to make up their daily schedule, as well as outdoor trips off-property.

Jr. Large Animal Vet Camp gives kids in grades 2–5 a hands-on introduction to the world of large animal veterinary care!

With the warmer weather arriving, we can’t help but start thinking about summer! It’ll be here before we know it, so make sure to include our Wednesday Day Camps in your summer plans. Camps run Wednesdays from June 10 through August 26, with half-day and full-day options. Potty-trained children can be dropped off, while caregivers must attend with little ones who aren’t yet potty-trained. Each session includes music and movement, a take-home craft, STEM activities, group games, story time, and free play. Snacks are provided, and members receive discounted rates. Sunset Playhouse School for the Arts offers a variety of summer camp opportunities for students age 4 – 5 and entering 1st – 10th grades.

Calling all history-loving teens: step into the shoes of a 19th-century trades apprentice during this immersive four-day experience designed just for you. Children ages 5–9 can join weeklong themed ballet camps—half- or full-day—exploring beloved childhood stories through dance, costume and scenic design, crafts, music, and choreography. Older dancers ages 9 and up can enhance their summer training in the one-week pre-pointe Junior Intensive, which includes ballet, jazz, dance history, nutrition, and injury prevention. Take the next step towards a professional career by training with Milwaukee Ballet for three or six weeks. Summer Intensive is a concentrated, comprehensive program for serious dancers aged 11-22 who have attained an intermediate to advance level of ballet technique. Ladies must have a minimum of one full year of intensive pointe training and boys in the equivalent level.

The Zoological Society of Milwaukee offers a number of engaging, age-appropriate camps for wildlife enthusiasts. During these experiences, children learn about the natural world through age-appropriate topics and activities, and by meeting Zoo animals. We don’t think learning should have to stop just because the school year ends! Our Conservation Education Department offers a variety of fun and engaging camps for ages 4-15, ranging from single-day to weeklong camp experiences. We also continue to offer Zoo Classes during the summer months for infants, ages 2-5 and adults.
